Android N developer preview is finally here, and its already available on their official website to be tested on listed devices in the below list. How ever Android N for Google Nexus 5 is not in the official list. But don’t worry just keep calm and keep reading,

Android N for Google Nexus 5![nexus 5 android-n-preview-3]( "nexus 5 android-n-preview-3")
Even though its not mentioned in the list, we found this section(screenshot) in Google repositories and found out that a build with the code name of the original Nexus 5 (Hammerhead) is already being build by Daniel Cashman <dcashman> (NOT the TV Actor) under “The Android Open Source Project”. Which means there is a good chance that we will get Android N for Google Nexus 5 soon. However if they didn’t finally end up publishing the final build, there’s no good reason for that to not exist.

In every way the Google Nexus 5 is packed with the hardware requirements for Android N….

….and the new release doesn’t really require much hardware power to bring the new features. so its just a mater of time that someone cook a custom ROM.

Already there is a bunch of developers working on custom Android N for Google Nexus 5 ROMs at xda-developers.com so there is good chance that we will get a ROM as soon as possible
