Most products purchased new come with a manufacturer’s warranty that covers defects due to parts or workmanship, generally up to one year from the date of purchase. If there is an issue during this time that is covered by the warranty, you will be referred to the manufacturer for service.
If there is an issue that is not covered by the manufacturer during the warranty period but is included in your SquareTrade plan, SquareTrade will cover it. After expiration of the manufacturer’s warranty, SquareTrade covers all issues included in your plan for the remainder of the plan term.
